That’s an excellent question and I’m so glad you asked. You’re absolutely right. AI is the hot buzzword right now and everybody’s looking to cash in. So can you tell who’s legitimate and who’s not? I’ll tell you how we do it.

The first thing we look at is whether they’ve built or grown a business before they started coaching. A lot of these AI automation gurus don’t have any experience in running a business. Business owners will hire you for the same reasons they always have when hiring agencies and consultants. They want someone trustworthy to guide them to the right decisions. Or a stakeholder needs an outside champion to help them push a project through.

Or they need someone to blame if their initiative fails. And why do businesses hire copywriters, designers, and SDRs when AI can do all that for them? Simple. They’re busy running their business. They don’t have the time to do it themselves. They just want someone to do it for them. That’s where you come in.

And they don’t have to take your word for it. You can do simple back-of-the-napkin math to prove it to them. For example, list their five most time-heavy tasks. Then estimate each task’s annual cost (hours × rate). Then apply proven efficiency benchmarks; 30-50 % gains in most departments.
